DESCRIPTION:City of Deltona – Citizens Academy Program\nJune 8 – July 6\, 2023\n\nThe City of Deltona is offering a citizen’s academy to help familiarize residents with the functions of city government. The five-week program offers hands-on and interactive sessions giving residents insight into a variety of municipal services. \nThis program is free of charge and a great way to get involved with our beautiful community. \nThe Citizens Academy will be held every Thursday starting June 8 through July 6\, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. There is a minimum of 20 participants needed for the program. \nDuring the sessions\, senior city staff will conduct sessions about their respective departments including: \n\n\n\nCity Manager\nPlanning Department\n\n\nCity Clerk\nFinance Department\n\n\nCommunications & Public Information\nHuman Resources & Risk Management\n\n\nDeltona TV\nParks & Recreation Department\n\n\nAnimal Control Division\nPublic Works\n\n\nCode Compliance\nVolusia County Sheriff’s Department\n\n\nBuilding Services\nDeltona Fire Department\n\n\nCDBG Grants & Economic Development\n\n\n\n\nIf you have any questions\, please reach out to the Assistant to the City Manager. \nSuzette Cameron:\nscameron@deltonafl.gov\n386-878-8615\n\nInterested in applying?
